FRIDAY NIGHT MIXSHOW BIO'S
DJ THEMI
Themi Charalambous, aka DJ Themi, was born and raised in Queens New York. This Greek/American started DJ’ing at a young age when his brother Harry bought him his first pair of realistic belt drive turntables and a realistic mixer. By the time Themi was 12 years old he was listening to the radio and started watching videos on Video Music Box. Themi was totally blown away by what he was seeing and hearing; DJ’s spinning vinyl and creating there own tracks got him hooked.

DJ Themi knew that one day he would be involved in music even more in some way shape or form. Themi's musical career started at the age of 15 when he went out as a local DJ mixing at house parties for friends. It took off from that point and evolved into much more.

DJ ZILOS
Chris Philip a.k.a. DJ Zilos developed a passion for music at a very young age. He grew up experimenting with a variety of different instruments and eventually discovered an affinity for the drums and percussive instruments. While majoring in music at college, Chris studied with Jeremy Wall from the Grammy Award winning band Spyro Gyra, who introduced him to a whole new level of recording and musical theory. Chris soon discovered a love for the art of DJ’ing and his talent for spinning heavy beats found an appreciative audience at various nightclubs across the greater New York area.

Chris Philip’s ability to produce a natural steady groove also led to his being in demand by several up and coming bands across New York State. In his time off from rehearsal he found himself in recording studios laying down tracks, developing his unique sound and dabbling in the art of remixing.

Chris Philip can currently be found in the studio working on various projects for both major and indie labels. He is always pushing the envelope, experimenting with new sounds and techniques in order to remain on the cutting edge of the music industry. Chris’ considerable talents have been featured on the hot new track on Amathus Music called “Bazook” by Matheos vs. Chris “The Greek”, which has been steadily climbing the charts worldwide.

“When I hear dance music, the feeling I get is unexplainable,” Chris enthuses. “Artists like David Guetta and Tiesto have inspired me to create and spread dance music across the world.”

You can find Chris dazzling the crowds in nightclubs across the country, and he can also be heard with his own mixshow on 24/7 Dance Radio. This young DJ continues spinning to the beat of his own drum, with a hypnotic style that is the future of dance music.

DJ Peter K
Peter K was born and raised on Long Island, NY. His passion for dance music was born while he was still in college, and after patronizing the various clubs near campus, he soon found himself completely immersed in the local dance and trance music scene. After graduation, Peter K started frequenting the New York dance clubs and discovered a brand new love - the underground house music scene.

"I think that was the beginning of everything for me," Peter K remembers fondly.

Peter K purchased his first set of turntables while still in college and the DJ’s he had befriended in his club travels taught him the basics of mastering the turntable. Peter K honed his skills to a fine art by DJ’ing local house parties for friends and family – anywhere that he could play to gain experience and improve his mixing ability. He soon realized how fiercely competitive the music industry could be, and began playing in numerous bars and clubs around the New York Tri-State area in order to create a buzz around his name.

Peter K’s intense love of music motivated him to travel across the US and abroad so that he could experience the diverse selections of music that were popular in other cities and countries across the globe. It was during these trips that his passion for music was ignited to a fever pitch, and inspired him to create his own compositions.

Peter K can currently be found hard at work in the studio producing original tracks, and his long term goal is to develop as a recording artist in his own right and introduce his own music into the marketplace. Peter K considers himself lucky to have had the support and encouragement of notable electronic DJ’s and producers such as Chris "The Greek" Panaghi, PhatCat, Glenn DeVeau and Jack Vibe.

Peter is also thrilled to be a part of the hottest new dance music radio station, 24/7 Dance Radio, and continues to perform at private functions, corporate events as well as his first love, nightclubs. He continues to eat, sleep and breathe music with the same burning passion that sparked his love for it in the first place.

"Trance is a way of life for me," says Peter K, “and the best is yet to come”.

SUNDAY NIGHT MIXSHOW BIO's
ORDER OF SOUND
Order Of Sound is ready to take its place in the international dance music community. With 2 plus decades of combined experience to pull from, no style of music is off limits to this new production powerhouse.

Some say having a specific sound or style that can be recognized is the only way to become great in this business. Order Of Sound thinks the only thing that comes from that is “the same old boring sound”. They take each project and create an atmosphere in which the track can grow and become many things to many people. Every time you listen to an Order Of Sound track it's like Christmas day, you may not know what its going to sound like, but you’ll love it.

Dave Gadbois, Order Of Sounds main producer, feels its relationship with Amathus Music is a match that is unbeatable. With Amathus’s diversity of artistic styles and Order’s philosophy of “give them something great”, how can the dance scene not be taken over.

So the question is: Are you ready for a New Dance Order?
